Dr. Gelot has been practicing Family Medicine at Carolina Family Care since 1995.  He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina of Medicine at Chapel Hill and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Carilion Health System.  Dr. Gelot is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is licensed in the state of North Carolina.  He is affiliated with the Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby, North Carolina.  Dr. Gelot has been affiliated with several professional organizations for many years including the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, the North Carolina Medical Society, and the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians.  His care philosophy is “Dedicated to provide excellent care to all my patients”. He not only provides excellent medical care internally, but he also provides his patients with weight management and body sculpting services to add to their overall health and wellness. Although Dr. Gelot works diligently in the medical field, he still enjoys his family life. He currently resides in Cherryville, NC with his wife Tammy and two children.
